Showtime Tilt 'N Plug Controller with VGA input plate, Dual Network and AC Power

The YZ820-106 is a tabletop interconnection solution designed for installation into a conference table as part of a Showtime presentation system and provides a way of connecting audiovisual equipment on top of the furniture to the Showtime presentation system below the furniture or in the ceiling. The control keypad has 8 input select keys, an audio mute key, a power on/off key, and a volume control knob.

Each control key has an internal LED indicating the active selection. Above the control knob are 5 LEDs that indicate the volume level from minimum (all LEDs off) to maximum (all LEDs on). In addition to control and volume adjustments, the controller has a 3.5 mm input jack for RS-232 communication using a custom cable provided with each switcher installation kit (AC405-100).

The switcher configuration can be modified from the YZ820-106 controller without having to go into the ceiling for direct access to the switcher. Additionally, the controller can be "locked out" to prevent unauthorized or accidental changes during a presentation. The computer video/audio inputs allow the video and audio from a computer to be presented through the Showtime system from the tabletop. The audio input uses a 3.5 mm jack and the computer input is a standard VGA 15-pin HD female connector. The signals are combined and output over two standard CAT-5 cables attached to the bottom of the unit. External power is not required since the unit receives power from the Showtime switcher.

There is a Power/Signal Present LED next to the computer audio input. The computer video input module receives power from the switcher when the projector power is turned on. The LED is on and red if the unit has power and changes from red to green when a valid computer video signal is present. The YZ820-106 input panel is accessible by pushing down on the top cover. The unit then auto tilts open with help from an internal pneumatic spring. Once open, the input plate remains securely in place. The input plate is hidden by pressing down on the top cover until the latching mechanism engages. In its closed position, the top panel lies flush with the tabletop until needed again. The YZ820-106 comes with a standard top and bezel offering a high quality matte black finish. Other finishes or special bezel configurations are available upon request.
